Name: Jadrek

Gender: Male

Age: about 29 years old

Height: 5'5"

Rank (Trainer, Coordinator, etc.): Trainer (once part of Team Rocket; then a rogue poacher/hunter; now a Trainer)

Gijinka (which Pokemon's features you have): Growlithe/Lugia

Hair: Short, red hair with small, white streaks

Eyes: Piercing green

Clothes: Maroon long-sleeve shirt, long black jeans, a black belt with his Pokeballs around his waist, and a red backpack holding everything else he owns; no shoes or socks whatsoever.

Looks (with Pokemon features): Especially because of Team Rocket, Jadrek is a "lean, mean, fighting machine"; in other words, he's had a whole lot of exercise. He may not be too tall, but he's still tough.
Growlithe ears, Growlithe paws in place of hands and feet (he still has opposable thumbs), and a Lugia tail (which is about two feet long). Besides ears, paws, and tail, light-red fur covering just about everywhere except neck&up. His feet are uncovered, seeing that they'd be uncomfortable when wearing boots. Jadrek understands Poke-speech.

Personality: First and foremost, by now, Jadrek doesn't really care what others think of his appearance; I'm not sure if he ever cared in the first place. Despite the fact that he was once a Rocket, Jadrek generally does what he can to stop Team Rocket. He doesn't really have much of a sense of humor. He also gets tired of Garet every now and then. Generally, Jadrek's kinda serious a lot of the time.

Pokemon: Kyra (Noctowl), Shadow (Weavile), Flapper (Dragonite), Rocky (Onix), Confucius (Tentracruel), Garet (Growlithe)

History: Jadrek was a regular human poacher who had joined Team Rocket, which changed after a disastrous incident in Versim City; this was when he struck out on his own. He and Garet, the Growlithe, have had experience with each other, starting in Versim. They hated each other, fought each other, yadayadayada.

All that changed when they were captured and taken to a laboratory owned by a mysterious organization. Jadrek was injected with DNA from a Lugia and Garet, the Growlithe. That's how Jadrek became a gijinka. The two, along with others that had suffered the same experiments, broke out of the lab. Now, Jadrek and Garet travel together, and Jadrek has given up the life of a poacher.

Special Feature: When Garet stays around a Ghost-type Pokemon (or Darkrai, if he ever comes around), his alter ego, Ghostfire, appears.

Ghostfire: Gray eyes, black pelt with white stripes. Ghostfire is a Fire- and Ghost-type Growlithe. He is basically the alter-ego-equivalent of a ghost (thanks to Darkrai).

Ghostfire's Moves: Shadow Ball, Confuse Ray, Shadow Wheel, Toxic.
Shadow Wheel is a move made up by me (far as I know), and it's the same as Flame Wheel, except it's the Ghost-version.

NOTE: Part of, if not most of, this background is due to past roleplays.
Background: Garet's story begins in Versim City, once one of the largest cities of the world. A Growlithe in the Battle Safari, a Safari where Trainers could actually battle each other, Garet grew up developing a curiosity for the world outside the Battle Safari (and developing an extreme liking for bandanas).
One day, however, Team Rocket started a secret operation in Versim...and Garet, having long since found a way in and out of the Safari, saw that they were in possession of a LOT of trapped Pokemon. He and a Vulpix (owned by Smalley, someone on Neopets; this was a roleplay we did) tried to help the Pokemon get free; this was when Garet and Jadrek first met and became enemies. For some reason, though, Rayquaza intervened, rampaging the city, for some reason that no one has discovered, before retreating into the atmosphere once again. This was known as the Versim Disaster.
Since then, Garet had been traveling, somehow bringing some bandanas with him, occasionally meeting up with Jadrek (and fighting). On a side-note, Garet eventually decided to go without bandanas.
One major event in Garet's life happened because of Darkrai. For some reason known only to Darkrai, this Dark-type legendary started gathering what seemed to be ALL the Ghost-type Pokemon in the Hoenn region, if not the world, and moved them all to around Mossdeep City. Somehow (I'm not sure how), Garet intervened, discovered Darkrai's plan, and received a curse in return. Now, he was in his Fire-Ghost form, but the alter-ego Ghostfire hadn't appeared yet. At first, Garet couldn't say anything about Darkrai's plan, which was the main purpose of the curse. However, with the help of other Pokemon and/or Trainers, Darkrai's plan was foiled, and everything went back to the way it was...except for Garet. Sure, he was back to his normal self, but Ghostfire still lurked somewhere inside... Oh, side-note: after the first few times that Ghostfire emerged, Garet developed a (somewhat) deep hatred for Darkrai and a fear of Ghost-Pokemon (though Ghost-Pokemon can't always be avoided).
Then Jadrek and Garet were captured, Jadrek became a gijinka, blahblahblah, if you want to know this part, go see Jadrek's background. Only after a (probably) long time did Jadrek begin to get used to Garet's darker side, Ghostfire...

Species: Shiny Noctowl

Gender: Male

Feather color: Golden color

Status: Owned by Jadrek, but flies off on his own often

Moves: Aerial Ace, Psychic(don't ask me why it can), Rest, Sleep Talk

Background: How Kyra came to meet Jadrek and Garet was interesting, actually. Jadrek was trying to catch a stray Pidgey in some partly-random forest at night, when a Noctowl (Kyra) suddenly flew in and scared off the wild Pidgey, just to keep it away from being caught. Jadrek had been even more surprised than Garet, but he proceeded to engage the Noctowl in battle, like every Trainer does in order to catch a wild Pokemon. After a short period of time, however, Jadrek and the Noctowl were in a stalemate. The Noctowl introduced himself as Kyra and suggested that he let himself be caught by Jadrek, as long as he could come and go as he likes. Jadrek agreed, and now, Kyra flies off on his own often, and when he comes back, he usually brings news of various events and such.
